Who We Are
This symposium is an initiative of the Student Leadership Committee (SLC) of the Harvard Center for Primary Care, in collaboration with student and faculty colleagues at University of Massachusetts Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine.
The SLC is a group that seeks to inspire, engage, and mobilize medical students interested in the growing primary care movement to improve our health system's accessibility, efficiency, and quality.
The SLC's Advocacy and Policy Subcommittee is proud to host the first Medical Symposium on Mass Incarceration and Health.
The subcommittee's purpose is to inform, train and mobilize the primary care community to positively impact community health by building advocacy capacity and forming interprofessional relationships.
